Pho Phor You?

Pho is not for us!  We went to the best spot in town a couple weekends ago to try this little fad ..... only to find out Pho is NOT for us.  Sure, it would have worked out nice as it was $6.00 a bowl, but man did my gag reflex kick in.  Pho is your traditional Vietnamese soup with a flare of French cuisine added to it, sort of like a broth y beef stew with rice noodles.  The broth is prepared by boiling beef or chicken bones for hours at a time, while adding ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and other spices.   They serve it with leafy greens, fresh jalapenos, fresh limes, beans sprouts, and basil leaves.  We ordered Spring Rolls and the Tenderloin Meat Pho with a side of meatballs, but nothing did the trick........Needless to say, we won't be going back - or to any other Pho Place in the near future.  Is Pho Phor You????
